3 March 2023 Ecstatic Dance Cluj-Napoca with Vฤzduh (Adrian Tudoran aka Electroclown), a man full of music and dance and a good friend of our community!

๐ Ecstatic dance is a CONSCIOUS FREE-FORM DANCE, a COMMUNITY gathering, a party, a ceremony, a practice of meditation through movement, a place of exploration through play where you can return to your body and EXPRESS yourself through MOVEMENT, in a non-verbal social environment.

After acting like a clown (electroclown) on Cluj musical scene for 18 years, honing his craft of intuitive flow on dancefloors, festivals and at house parties everywhere, he decides to embrace the idea of DJING more soulful and playing long trip-like kind of sets, oferring a colorful musical experience.
The sets he plays are influenced by tribal and folkloric sounds from around the world, mixed with the full spectrum of electronic music styles.
The feeling on the dance floor is spacious and grounding, compelling melodies, strong and earthy beats. Dance journeyโs with a deep flow and some unexpected twists and turns, juggling with samples, loops and playing traditional instruments from diffrent cultures. Dancers experience a deep blissful quality by the dance experience and the feelings that are being touched, while coming to the surface and being released give space to directly experience a freedom and being fully present. You can find yourself on a island or on the top of a mountain.

๐ The event will start with a short warm-up to stretch, to get familiar with the space and with other people. Then, we`ll flow into the Ecstatic Dance. For two hours, the DJ will guide us for a JOURNEY through genres, tempos and different cultural influences. You are invited to move as the MUSIC inspires you and as your body wishes in a safe and non-judgemental space.
This is an opportunity to exercise your body and mind, to process emotions, to EXPLORE and to PLAY, dancing alone or with other people or just sitting. We close with a session of relaxation music to integrate insights and connections into our beings.
๐ Ecstatic Dancing reveals the possibilities, advantages and challenges of dancing, bringing AWARENESS not just to the activity itself, but also to our COMMITMENT and INTENTION towards this activity.

GUIDELINES:
๐ For a truly authentic experience, the dance floor is a NON-VERBAL space. Leaving words behind allows us to move out of our minds and into our bodies, finding new ways to express ourselves and to connect with others.
๐ Alcohol/ tobacco/ drug-free environment.
๐ Respect for the space and for one another.
๐ Consider wearing loose-fitting clothes that allow you to move freely and bring a bottle of water.
๐ The event addresses all dance enthusiasts, regardless of age, dance experience or physical condition.
๐ During the event there will be no filming or taking pictures ๐
