We meet on March 31 for another edition of Ecstatic Dancing where we can relax, enjoy, chill and dance our moods together 🙂

We’re excited to have Scott Binder, an advocate of Ecstatic Dance events and healthy community-building through dance, as our guest again:
“In 2015 I was diagnosed with cancer and it inspired me to change my path in life, included in that was the kind of music I would make. At the time I was a club dj and I decided move into being in places and gatherings that were more aligned with my core.
I am grateful and humbled to have the opportunity to create music and guide sound journeys at places like Ecstatic Dance, which are gatherings that I believe support our empowerment, joy and freedom of expression.”

🌟 Ecstatic dance is a CONSCIOUS FREE-FORM DANCE, a COMMUNITY gathering, a party, a ceremony, a practice of meditation through movement, a place of exploration through play where you can return to your body and EXPRESS yourself through MOVEMENT, in a non-verbal social environment.

"For a long time dance and connecting in community has been a potent medicine, and with what is unfolding in our world one thing that has gotten even more clear to me is that gathering together in these kind of spaces like Ecstatic Dance is especially important for us during these times of great shifts.
As our world changes at an incredible pace and with being filled with so many different ideas of how we move forward, it’s so important for us to tune into that which uplifts and inspires us, so we can co-create the kind of world we want to live in together.

🌟 The event will start with a short warm-up to stretch, to get familiar with the space and with other people. Then, we`ll flow into the Ecstatic Dance. For two hours, the DJ will guide us for a JOURNEY through genres, tempos and different cultural influences. You are invited to move as the MUSIC inspires you and as your body wishes in a safe and non-judgemental space.
This is an opportunity to exercise your body and mind, to process emotions, to EXPLORE and to PLAY, dancing alone or with other people or just sitting. We close with a session of relaxation music to integrate insights and connections into our beings.

🌟 Ecstatic Dancing reveals the possibilities, advantages and challenges of dancing, bringing AWARENESS not just to the activity itself, but also to our COMMITMENT and INTENTION towards this activity.

GUIDELINES:
🌊 For a truly authentic experience, the dance floor is a NON-VERBAL space. Leaving words behind allows us to move out of our minds and into our bodies, finding new ways to express ourselves and to connect with others.
🌊 Alcohol/ tobacco/ drug-free environment.
🌊 Respect for the space and for one another.
🌊 Consider wearing loose-fitting clothes that allow you to move freely and bring a bottle of water.
🌊 The event addresses all dance enthusiasts, regardless of age, dance experience or physical condition.
🌊 During the event there will be no filming or taking pictures 🙏
