Every artist group or independent cultural space in Cluj has a story that is linked to the context in which it emerged. We could say that this is where an interdependent, often unrecognized existence begins. We come from somewhere, sometimes we know from where, sometimes we would be surprised to see the results, if we delve a little deeper into the subject. The meeting to which you are invited brings together several generations of artists and cultural managers who have been contributing to the cultural life of the city for years or more recently.
What are the similarities between the different generations of freelancers? With what stakes did they set out and how have they changed over time? Can the cumulative individual needs create an artistic scene that is representative of one generation for many? What is the relationship between the independents and the city and its communities? What kind of landmarks have they created and for whom? What place does the audience have in their existence? Who would miss them if they ceased to exist tomorrow?
