🏵️ On April 18 we will have a big celebration!
10 years since the birth of Ecstatic Dance Cluj-Napoca,
10 years of dance gatherings,
10 years of community.
For us, besides all the hard work we did in all this years, there is a great joy coming from the fact that were able to do this and that, along the years, we gathered so many beautiful people through dance. We created a welcoming family that breaths and recognizes itself through its dances. We thank each one of the people who came to our events 🙏
To CELEBRATE we are happy to have Nir from Kulam Project together with a LIVE orchestra of local musicians that will guide our dance journey through improvised music filled with feeling and presence.
We are also happy to host this celebration at Casa Tranzit, the place where we had our first dance and a house for our Ecstatic Dances for many many years.

Ecstatic Dance is a party, a ceremony, a safe space for the gathering of people who want to enjoy themselves, other people, music, dance and nature ❤️ Even if you have never been to Ecstatic Dance before, we look forward to seeing you!

🌟 Ecstatic dance is a CONSCIOUS FREE-FORM DANCE, a COMMUNITY gathering, a party, a ceremony, a practice of meditation through movement, a place of exploration through play where you can return to your body and EXPRESS yourself through MOVEMENT, in a non-verbal social environment.

🌟 The event will start with a short warm-up to stretch, to get familiar with the space and with other people. Then, we`ll flow into the Ecstatic Dance. For two hours, the music will guide us for a JOURNEY through genres, tempos and different cultural influences. You are invited to move as the MUSIC inspires you and as your body wishes in a safe and non-judgmental space.
This is an opportunity to exercise your body and mind, to process emotions, to EXPLORE and to PLAY, dancing alone or with other people or just sitting. We close with a session of relaxation music to integrate insights and connections into our beings.

🌟 Ecstatic Dancing reveals the possibilities, advantages and challenges of dancing, bringing AWARENESS not just to the activity itself, but also to our COMMITMENT and INTENTION towards this activity.

18:30 - 20:30 Ecstatic Dancing / LIVE Musical journey

GUIDELINES:
🌊 For a truly authentic experience, the dance floor is a NON-VERBAL space. Leaving words behind allows us to move out of our minds and into our bodies, finding new ways to express ourselves and to connect with others.
🌊 Alcohol/ tobacco/ drug-free environment.
🌊 Respect for the space and for one another.
🌊 Consider wearing loose-fitting clothes that allow you to move freely and bring a bottle of water.
🌊 The event addresses all dance enthusiasts, regardless of age, dance experience or physical condition.
🌊 During the event there will be no filming or taking pictures 🙏
