This month, we invite you to join a practical workshop with Chihiro Araki exploring the relationship between voice and body. Through somatic movement and playful exercises, participants will be invited to connect with their whole body and its potential for resonance. The workshop is open to dancers, actors, and performance artists.

𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗵𝗶𝗿𝗼 𝗔𝗿𝗮𝗸𝗶 is a Japanese dancer based in Berlin. After training at The Tokyo Ballet School and earning a BA from the Rambert School in London, she danced with Carte Blanche – The Norwegian National Company of Contemporary Dance and Staatstheater Kassel. She has collaborated and created works with Alban Richard, Jenny Beyer, Lina Gómez, Sergiu Matis, Jule Flierl, Ixchel Mendoza Hernández, Kihako Narisawa, Deva Schubert, Chiara Bartl-Salvi, and musician Pan Daijing.
Applications are open until 11 August, 11:59 PM via the registration form linked in the description. Selection will prioritize professional artists, availability to attend as many sessions as possible, and the order in which applications are received.
